Hello!

My name is Sheri, and this is Go, Durango! A site I created to keep track of all the fun stuff happening in and around Durango, Colorado.

About me: I grew up in beautiful Chattanooga, TN, and lived in Atlanta and Houston from 2005 until I quit my job in July of last year (2021). I traveled around the country in our camper van, exploring the US. From Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to the Oregon Coast to Bentonville, Arkansas, to Asheville, North Carolina, we were fortunate to see some of the most gorgeous places in the US. After traveling for over five months, we decided to settle down in Durango (because it's the best!) and have been living here since December 2021.

Selfishly I started this blog & instagram account to help me stay informed of everything Durango has to offer. (I was tired of finding out about events after the fact!) This is my attempt, as a Durango newbie, to fall even more in love with my new city and take full advantage of all that Durango has to offer. And hopefully, it serves as a resource for you, dear reader, whether you are a tourist, new to town, or a local.
