I started GoDurango in May 2022, about 6 months after I moved here, to stay informed about everything Durango has to offer. (I was tired of finding out about events after the fact!) This was my attempt, as a Durango newbie, to fall even more in love with my new city and take full advantage of all that Durango has to offer. Hopefully, it serves as a valuable resource for you, whether you're visiting, new to town, or a seasoned local!

About the Author

I grew up in beautiful Chattanooga, TN, and lived in Atlanta for 9 years, including 5 years at Georgia Tech. I then moved to Houston for work and lived there for 7 (long v hot) years before deciding that the swamp and hurricane life wasn't for me. In 2021, I broke up with my life and traveled around the US in my camper van, discovering that Durango really did live up to the hype. Other favorite cities I've visited are Bend, OR; Bentonville, AR; and Bozeman, MT.
